Productivity Analyst
Position Description
The primary purpose of the Productivity Analyst is to ensure the reliable application of the BBC productivity model through robust data validation, governance, and stakeholder engagement, while supporting productivity growth. The role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of productivity activities, including data collection, validation, analysis, quality checks, and the production of quarterly results.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Insight Delivery

Data gathering, integration and analysis activities across internal systems (including SAP), ensuring data is reliable, well governed and fit for purpose.

Deliver clear, actionable insights and reporting to support operational, strategic and regulatory decision-making.

Analyse advanced dashboards, automated templates and digital tools that enhance efficiency and improve information flow across ESB Networks.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management

Build and maintain effective working relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor who can influence business priorities.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, gather insights, and ensure analytic outputs meet operational needs.
Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to optimise processes and embed more data-driven decision-making across teams.
Key Skills & Experience

Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.

Experience working with large, complex datasets.
-
Strong working knowledge of SAP and Excel (advanced formulas).
-
Ability to follow defined methodologies and governance frameworks.

Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical outputs.

Experience supporting audit, regulatory, or assurance processes (desirable).

Minimum 4 years relvant work experience.
Location
This position will be based in Athlone/ Flexible.
Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

Salary
€49,000 to €56,000 per annum
