Position Description


ESB is seeking a high performing PR & Sponsorship Executive to join the Marketing & Customer Insights Team, within ESB Customer Solutions. As a key member of the Brand, Sponsorship and PR team, you will be responsible for the delivery of a proactive PR & Sponsorship Strategy, to grow and sustain our ESB and Electric Ireland brands in Ireland in line with ESB’s Net Zero 2040 Strategy.


You will work closely with colleagues across the Marketing & Customers Insights team supporting strategic campaigns to deliver brand and commercial objectives.



Key Responsibilities 


  • Support the activation of key sponsorships across ESB and Electric Ireland portfolios.

  • Support PR campaign development and implementation as required by business units across the group.

  • Coordinate with agency partners across creative, media, events, PR, social content, digital and brand in the delivery of agreed programmes of work across PR and Sponsorship

  • Internal and external stakeholder management and liaison with colleagues across business units, as a key point of contact with a number of sponsorship partners.

  • Working closely with Group Internal Communications team to deliver employee engagement programmes to build internal advocates for group Sponsorship, Brand and PR activities.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal processes and all contractual requirements.

  • Monitor and report on Industry developments and competitor activity.



Experience and Qualifications




  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years marketing (including events, campaign management or digital) experience with a proven track record of success
  • Agile and innovative, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Evidence of strong stakeholder management experience
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills




  • Experience in Sponsorship and PR





This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry. Additional travel may be required.

All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.

€46,000 - €54,000 per annum depending on experience.
