Business Performance & Value Realisation Manager - Customer, Transformation & Digital
Position description
This role is part of the ESB Networks Transformation Office and strengthens the link between transformation portfolio and business value by driving effective business engagement, and adoption across the organisation. It translates complex data into actionable insights, supports leaders in understanding performance outcomes, and ensures new capabilities are embedded and sustained.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure effective business engagement across the business manager and teams
- Build strong relationships, promoting alignment, trust, and collaboration between the transformation programme and the business teams.
- Direct business readiness and rollout activities, ensuring sequencing, coordination and a focus on end-user needs.
- Oversee adoption and training plans, ensure effective learning and act on user feedback.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to validate benefits, establish baselines, track adoption and confirm value delivered.
- Work with the Transformation Office to develop and oversee value realisation plans, including benefits hypotheses, measurement methodologies and reporting cycles.
- Identify, assess and manage risks and dependencies affecting adoption and value realisation.
- Track KPIs, provide performance insights and value realisation reports to business leaders that connect transformation progress to value realisation and enhanced business performance.
- Partner with business leaders and the transformation team to identify further opportunities to enhance business capabilities and business performance.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- 10 years’ experience in areas such as business performance, strategy and/or transformation with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in benefits management or value realisation, including developing baselines, KPIs, and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, able to interpret data and translate insights into decisions and recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement experience, including influencing different stakeholders.
- Proven ability to support digital and data-enabled change.
- Experience working within programme/portfolio environments, including risk and dependency management.
- Ability to lead through influence, work across multiple teams, and operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Background in business readiness, change adoption, or implementing new digital tools/processes at scale.
Desirable
- Degree in business, finance, data/analytics, organisational change, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong proficiency in interpreting data and using performance or reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, analytics platforms).
- Demonstrated experience in business performance at a middle management level.
- Clear evidence of continuous professional development in areas such as digital, data, leadership, or business performance.
Location
This position will be based in Dublin (with flexible/Hybrid working)

Salary
€68,000 to 101,000 per annum
