B2B Training Lead [24 Months]
Position Description
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in the Electric Ireland Business Markets team. We have approximately 2750 Business customers for whom we strive to provide excellent customer service.
The role of the Training Lead will have responsibility for a wide range of staff education and training activities primarily within the Customer services section Electric Ireland NI B2B, supporting excellence in Electric Ireland B2B team to enable delivery of services to a high standard, meeting all internal and external requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Training Program Development:
o Design and develop a comprehensive training curriculum focused on regulatory compliance for non-domestic customers.
o Ensure training materials are up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Implementation and Delivery:
o Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for staff at all levels.
o Utilize various training methods (e.g., in-person, online, blended learning) to effectively deliver content.
• Compliance Monitoring:
o Regularly assess and monitor staff understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements.
o Implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
• Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with the Regulation team to stay informed about regulatory changes and updates.
o Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure a cohesive approach to staff training.
• Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and assessment results.
o Prepare and present regular reports on training outcomes and compliance status to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement:
o Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to continuously improve training programs.
o Gather feedback from participants to refine and enhance training content and delivery methods.
• Support and Guidance:
o Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff regarding compliance-related queries and issues.
o Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory compliance for non-domestic customers.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience,
- Demonstrated ability to deliver training initiatives and projects
- Proven experience in supporting regulatory compliance through training and assessment, preferably within the energy sector.
- Strong organizational and project management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High levels of enthusiasm, commitment, and a proven ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders
- The ability to analyse processes, identify areas for improvement and implement them.
Desirable
- Good working knowledge and experience of training systems and processes.
- Experience in the Energy industry particularly customer facing departments and knowledge of the Northern Ireland Utility Regulator's requirements for non-domestic customers
- Previous experience in a working in training environment.
Location
This position will be based in Dublin

Salary
€48,000 - €56,500 per annum depending on experience.
