Position Description 

 

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer focused team at a very interesting time in the commercial evolution of the Electric Ireland business.  
 
The successful candidate will gain valuable experience of our Billing and Database processes serving all Electric Ireland electricity & gas customers.   

 


Key Responsibilities 

 

•    Billing of customer accounts ensuring accurate and timely issue of invoices to customers.  
•    Support in the delivery of Team KPI’s, providing reporting, analysis as required. 
•    Managing the registration of customer accounts in Electric Ireland database. 
•    Maintaining the integrity of the customer database. 
•    Work with team to identify and implement Continuous Customer Improvement business process driving ongoing process efficiency & service improvement.  
•    Provide excellence in customer service delivery, supporting the prompt resolution of customer queries and complaints.  
•    Support key business projects. 
•    Participation in user assistance testing for systems updates e.g. price changes as required

 


Experience and Qualifications 

 

Essential

 

•    Minimum of 1 year work experience in the energy, financial, or other business sector where above knowledge and experience has been gained.  
•    A high level of commitment and flexibility.  
•    Proven ability to work as part of a team.  
•    Good organisational and planning skills.  
•    Ability to work to deadlines in a busy office environment.  
•    Experience in MS Office packages in particular Excel.  

 

Desirable 


•    A proven track record in delivery of excellent customer service
•    Proficiency in the use of SAP or equivalent.  

 

 

Location 

 

This position will be based in Dublin

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.

Salary

 

€32,400 - €38,800 depending on experience
