Applications are invited for Business Support Specialist in Strategic Delivery and Commercial (SDC) who will assist in the provision and operation of Contingent Labour to Managers across all ESB Business Units. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Contingent Labour Engagement & Approvals

Advise and support managers on contingent labour processes including approvals, business cases, role profiles, and project agreements with framework agencies via Docusign.

 

Procurement & CV Evaluation 

Collaborate with Procurement during the mini-tender process to evaluate CVs and submit SAP contract requests upon completion.

 

SharePoint Workflow & Documentation 

Support Process contingent labour approval requests through SharePoint workflows and support migration of documentation from OneDrive and SharePoint on-premise to SharePoint Online.

 

Timesheet & Finance Support

Assist managers and contractors with online timesheet recording, supporting user acceptance testing, WBS management, user access, EMP Finance queries, and change requests.

 

Agency Liaison & Rate Benchmarking

Supporting efforts to liaise with agencies to support rate benchmarking exercises and manage agency submissions of CVs.

 

 

Governance, Legal & Onboarding

Support managers in the adherence to onboarding and management guidelines for contingent labour contractors are current, support webinars for line managers, and coordinate with Group Legal and agencies on service agreements for new CL panels.

 

 

Supplier Relationship & SRM Support

Provide business support within SDC for supplier relationship management, including shopping cart creation, invoice goods receipting, SRM workflow queries, invoice follow-ups, and new vendor documentation processing via SAP.

 

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

 

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant role preferably with business administration responsibilities

 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation, reporting, and influencing.

 

  • An excellent working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint & SharePoint. With a familiarity with tools like SAP or similar. It is also important that the candidate is comfortable using digital tools for collaboration, reporting, and workflow management.

 

  • A relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.

 

 

Desirable 

  • Knowledge of  GDPR.
  • Knowledge of SAP SRM systems.

 

 

Location

This position will be based in Engineering and Major Projects, One Dublin Airport Central, Dublin Airport, Cloghran, Co. Dublin

Salary

€40,000 - €47,000 per annun
