Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with different commercial functions to gain practical experience, contribute to projects, and assist with daily tasks.

Collaborate with our enthusiastic and skilled commercial team, working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.

Develop essential skills to thrive in the commercial landscape and contribute to achieving business objectives.

Analyse and document current and emerging policies and funding related to emerging technologies including long-duration energy storage and renewable hydrogen.

Support the team in identifying and analysing new commercial models and funding schemes to support the net zero transition.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data.

Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Support activities in relation to funding applications for innovation projects.

Support engagement with internal and external stakeholders to stay updated on policy developments and industry trends.
Requirements:

Currently pursuing a minimum of a 2.1 in Business, Marketing, Policy, Law, or a related field.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in commercial data analysis and documentation.

Effective time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Problem-solving orientation to address commercial challenges and drive innovative solutions.

Goal-focused approach to achieving commercial targets and driving business success.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or similar, is desirable.

A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Location:
Our roles are based in various locations, including Dublin, Portlaoise, Clare & Offaly, with hybrid working options.
Contract:
This is a fixed-term contract position, offering valuable experience and exposure within ESB’s Commercial function.
