Position Description 

 

 

ESB ecars was established as part of the brighter future strategy and now the Net Zero strategy to support the decarbonisation of the transport industry by providing a reliable and fully interoperable EV charging network for our customers across the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and GB. The 2030 strategy is to deliver 3,000 chargers by the end of 2030, delivering EBITDA of €90m over the 8 years and deploying up to €300m of capital during this period.

 

The initial phase of the strategy which focuses on infrastructure rollout is well established and the next phase is focused on the expansion of the existing network with a particular emphasis on fast and high-powered multi-charger deployments at both existing and new locations throughout all jurisdictions together with optimising the value from this infrastructure and the development of pricing, trading, roaming, fleet and other commercial strategies.

 

The candidate will work within a dynamic team of dedicated professionals and will be responsible for delivering excellent service to business customers. This role will liaise closely with the Commercial Contracts Team as well as the Commercial Optimisation Manager, BD Manager, Infrastructure Manager and Operations Manager to optimise the commercial value from all business/fleet customers.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and manage relationships with our B2B customers which includes Fleet, lease holders, roaming partners and our GB contracts
  • Deliver timely and courteous customer service and communications to customers and stakeholders via phone, email and face to face, in line with company policies and brand values
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of customers’ businesses and needs
  • Support contractual obligations on consumption reports and analysis on B2B contracts
  • Assist on any escalated customer queries or issues (fleet and B2B)
  • Support the other areas of the Commercial Contracts team as required
  • Provide support on the updating of expired contracts and new contracts, in conjunction with legal, IT, Finance as well as the B2B customers
  • Progress expenditure and purchase approvals as required
  • Management of Gireve, our roaming partner platform
  • Support on the implementation of the new CRM system within ecars
  • Identify and communicate changing customer needs and through that, identify areas for process improvement and for customized service solutions
  • Support in product and pricing updates as required
  • Assist in any marketing events/campaigns and attend industry events as required.
  • Attendance in workshops as required
  • Work as part of a team to support the drive for sales growth and retention through delivery of agreed personal and team sales objectives/ targets
  • Build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the EV markets in Ireland so as to contribute positively to ecar’s strategic objectives.
  • Identify and communicate changing customer needs and through that, identify areas for process improvement and for customized service solutions

This position entails close working relationships with other areas of the business including, Finance, Marketing and Legal in addition to the wider ecars area.

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

 

  • 2-3 years relevant working experience.  
  • Full driving licence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Analysing data, problem solving and decision making.
  • Excellent planning and organising skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Innovation and creativity to adapt to changing environments / circumstances.
  • Ability to build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of EV markets in so as to contribute positively to ecar’s strategic objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Candidate preferably requires relevant professional qualification or equivalent in Business or Commercial discipline.

 

 

Location

 

This Role is based in Swift Square . Some travel will be required as part of this role in line with ESBs Smart Working arrangements.

Salary 

 

€48,000 - €56,500 depending on experience.
