Electric Ireland is the primary customer facing business unit of the ESB Group and is the leading energy supplier in Ireland with over 1 million customers, both Residential and Business in an All-Ireland market. Our key priority is to maintain the highest standards of customer service while helping our customers to get the most value from their gas and electricity. Electric Ireland has ambitious digital service and sales channel targets as part of the Electric Ireland customer focused digital strategy. 

 

The Digital Product Associate will be supporting the Digital team with content changes, landing page design and campaign support across our CMS websites. The candidate should carry out relentless testing and be proficient with analytics tools. They should have the ability to analyse and report on website quality assurance, accessibility, Official Language Act compliance, readability and SEO. This role supports our vision to continually make our digital channels as easy as possible for our customers to interact with. Additionally, some responsibilities include IT requirements specifications, user story writing and UAT.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

This is a key support role for Website Product Owner and will involve providing support in the following areas:

  • Building and editing user friendly web pages using a Content Management System
  • Optimising digital content, customer journeys and landing pages for search results and ease of customer use
  • Implement operational changes of our product price plans including rigorous testing and stakeholder engagement
  • Regularly updating our digital journeys with new innovative products and services to support Electric Ireland business objectives 
  • Key responsibility is to report on content quality assurance, accessibility and readability 
  • Support with Irish language content in line with Official Language Act obligations
  • Website analytics and SEO performance analysis and reporting
  • Other activities as per business needs

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

 

Essential

 

  • Either 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience 

  • A proven hunger for making digital journeys better 
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent reading and writing skills
  • Proven ability to deliver digital objectives through websites and digital products 
  • Confident and assured team player who enjoys work and has a curiosity to learn
  • Experience using and manging a large-scale content management system, preferably Sitefinity or similar
  • Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent Microsoft product suite skills with the ability to present information
  • Demonstrate an understanding of working for a commercially focus business
  • Knowledge of best practice digital design principles
  • Experience working with Google tool such as Analytics and Search Console 
  • Knowledge of user centred design, visual design, and/or usability
  • Good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation and copy writing
  • Experience in identifying and clearly documenting digital customer journeys

 

 

Desirable

  • Fluent or highly competent in the Irish language
  • A relevant Digital qualification would be a distinct advantage

 

 

Location

 

This position will be based in Santry, Hybrid working based in Santry at least 2 days per week

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least twp anchor days per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.

Salary

 

€40,100 - €47,200 per annum, depending on experience.
