Position Description 

ESB Dublin Stations, comprising Dublin Bay Power, Poolbeg and North Wall, is seeking maintenance electricians to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of critical generation assets during Ireland’s transition to a Net Zero low‑carbon energy future.  

 

We are recruiting for: 

  1. Maintenance Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Technician 
  2. Maintenance Electrician

 

You will be a key member of the on‑site maintenance team, carrying out fault‑finding, repairs and planned maintenance to meet safety, environmental and performance standards. 

The positions are hands‑on in a high‑energy operational environment, working across a wide range of mechanical, electrical and control systems. We are looking for proactive, adaptable self‑starters who can work autonomously, respond to operational challenges and support station needs through flexible working and call‑outs when required.  

 

Experience and Qualifications 

Essential 

  • 2+ years' heavy industrial plant experience, or equivalent industrial hands-on experience in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation
  • FAS, SOLAS craft qualification in Electrical or Electrical Control and Instrumentation 

 

Desirable 

  • A Full Category B Irish driving licence

Poolbeg, Dublin Bay Power and North Wall Generation Stations
