To further enhance our capabilities and to transform ESB to a data driven and digital utility, we are looking for Graduates to join our highly motivated and skilled team of IT professionals where you will have the opportunity to deliver results in a fast-paced, innovative team environment.
Our IT Graduate Development Programme is structured into six distinct career paths where you will be able to grow your experience, as well as develop the necessary skills to help you on your way to career success.
The Digital Delivery, including Project Management, Business & Technology stream is designed for graduates who are interested in the business side of delivering technology and change, rather than software development or programming.
At ESB, IT Delivery is responsible for the IT Investment Portfolio of Projects and Products, in a sustainable, value driven way. It is a dynamic, high performing function with a mix of strategic and operational activities across a broad range of activities.
Working within ESB's IT function, you will help shape and deliver strategic initiatives that improve how the organisation operates, serves customers and delivers value. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders across the business, supporting projects, products and change initiatives that enable ESB's digital transformation.

Structured Rotations – Our graduate programme is typically structured into targetted rotations aligned with career paths and capability development where you will build your IT and business knowledge through challenging assignments, a diverse range of business activities, and the potential to work on projects.

Learning & Development – Central to our programme is your learning and development. Structured leadership development, training opportunities, innovation programmes. on-the-job learning and work-shadowing are complemented with personal development programmes and supports designed to help you grow professionally and personally.

Performance Orientated – At the start of each of your rotations, you will agree with your Line Manager the goals of the assignment and put in place the steps to help achieve them. Ongoing one-to-one conversations and management reviews will ensure that you are constantly working towards achieving your professional status and position you for a career with ESB.

Supportive Working Environment – In addition to your immediate support network of Line Manager, Middle Manager, Team Colleagues and Graduate Peers, you will also be assigned a Buddy and a Mentor.

Location
This position will be based in ESB Head Office, F27, 2 Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 4.
Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.
What We Look For?

You should have (or be working towards) a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree in any of the following type of degrees: Business Management, Business & Technology, Business, Innovation, IT & technology related degrees, Computer Sciences, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent course where IT was a component.

Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced team environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical skills, combined with the ability to learn quickly.
