Position Description

 

The position involves interaction with all Stakeholders within ESB Networks and beyond.  The ideal applicant should have a keen interest in supporting the mobile journey using excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. An applicant should be comfortable dealing with all levels of staff, have a good knowledge of Office 365 systems and Mobile technology. 

 

This role involves supporting the roll-out of Mobile Technology within all business areas in ESB Networks.  Support will also be required for existing and new mobile and digital technologies. The successful candidate will join a multi-location, dynamic and cross-functional team.

 

 

Key Responsibilities  

 

  • First level support for all mobile device users (3600+ staff) supporting over 20+ ESB Networks iOS developed mobile apps.
  • Work closely with the Business Support team to deliver an excellent mobile and digital support service with particular focus on the Networks Technicians field staff & framework contractors.
  • Working with stakeholders across ESB Group to enable digital rollouts within ESB Networks & frameworks contractors
  • Liaise with IT, Mobile Network Providers & internal stakeholders. 
  • Assess training requirements, develop training material, and provide training courses for mobile users both in person & online.
  • Deliver Mobile Related Presentations and attend Mobile Clinics in depots.
  • Management of Mobile Device Hardware.  
  • Supporting the Office 365 platforms across ESB Networks (SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams).  
  • Producing reports using excel and maintaining records.  
  • Control documentation, directories, and permissions within MS SharePoint.  
  • Working with mobile super-users across the business, regular support & champion workshops.

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

 

Essential
 

  • A 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience.  
  • Minimum of three years relevant work experience  
  • Ability to work on own initiative  
  • A strong interest in Mobile Technology and competency in the use of Apple devices  
  • Ability to deliver first class customer service  
  • Good level of proficiency of Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint, MS OneDrive, MS Teams 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Excellent written and presentation skills  
  • A high level of commitment and flexibility  
  • Willingness to learn and develop  
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Full, clean Driving Licence - Travel within Ireland will be a feature of this role to provide training and in-depot Mobile clinics.  

 

Desirable

 

  • Previous experience with supporting Apple devices and/or mobile applications  
  • Experience and strong interest in social media and in innovative technology

Salary
