NMS Senior Engineer - Operations Systems Support,
Position Description
The Distribution Markets and System Operation (DMSO) organisation is seeking an experienced and motivated NMS Senior Engineer to join the Operational Systems Support (OSS) team. OSS plays a critical role in supporting and maintaining the Operational Technology (OT) systems that underpin the safe, reliable and real‑time operation of Ireland’s electricity distribution network. - Power Flow
- Network Optimisation
- Load Forecasting
- Fault Location, Isolation & Service Restoration (FLISR)
- Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS)
These systems support day‑to‑day network operations and enable ESB Networks to integrate increasing levels of renewables, improve outage response and deliver enhanced grid intelligence.
The NMS Senior Engineer will be part of a high‑performing technical team responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing the NMS. They will contribute to the delivery of new projects aligned with the strategic objectives of the DMSO and ensure the NMS continues to evolve in line with the needs of Network Operations and the wider business.
