Position Description 

Requisition to Pay (RTP) is responsible for ensuring best practice payment channels, strong governance and compliance and payment performance across ESB. RTP are the process owner for several processes across ESB group, including Corporate Procurement Cards (CPC), One Time Vendor Payments, Invoice Processing, SRM purchasing system, customs processes, and tax preparation and filing activities.

 

The Performance & Compliance team is a key team within the Requisition to Pay area.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the RTP Performance & Compliance Manager in maintaining the governance and control framework for RTP Payment activities.
  • Assist with the monitoring and compliance with ESB’s payment terms and Payment Channel Policies.
  • Review payment channel processes and work with stakeholders to enhance digital and data solutions.
  • Support the SAP role approval process and related payment reporting.
  • Report and analyse KPIs for RTP using Power BI and Excel.
  • Maintain and enhance Power BI Dashboards for RTP and Corporate Procurement Cards.
  • Coordinate and review system access across RTP processes, including GRC Mitigating Controls.

 

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

  • At least 2 years of experience in a finance or administrative role.
  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail.

Desirable

  • A good knowledge and understanding of SAP including SAP BW and Power BI
  • An understanding of ESB’s Payment Channels and Invoicing procedures
  • Working knowledge of ESB Authority Levels and Internal Control Framework
  • A Business qualification

 

Location  

This position will be based in ESB Head Office, Fitzwilliam 27, Dublin 2.

Reporting To

The position reports to the RTP Performance and Compliance Manager.

Salary

€40,000 - €47,000 per annum (depending on experience)
