Performance Operations Team Member
Position Description
We are seeking People Services Team Members to provide operational HR support across core people processes. These roles will suit individuals with strong attention to detail, a customer‑focused mindset, and an interest in developing their HR capability within a shared services environment.
The team plays a critical role in supporting ESB’s strategic objectives by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant people administration, enabling the business to focus on delivering on its decarbonisation, infrastructure resilience, and customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support across People Services or Pensions processes in line with defined procedures and service standards.
- Process transactions accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Perform routine data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Respond to employee, pensioner, or stakeholder queries in line with service guidelines, escalating where appropriate.
- Support cyclical and time‑bound processes (e.g. year‑end activities, audits, organisational or payroll changes).
- Maintain accurate records and support reporting requirements as directed.
- Work collaboratively within the team to meet service delivery targets and controls.
- Actively engage in training and development to build process and system knowledge
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Experience in an administrative, operations, or shared services environment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow defined processes and work to deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience in an HR, People Services, or payroll‑related role.
- Exposure to HR systems, data handling, or reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Knowledge of HR policies, reward, or pension processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4.
Location
This position will be based in ESB Head Office, F27.
Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

Salary
€33,500 - €40,200 per annum (depending on experience)
