Planning & Scheduling Professional
We’re seeking a proactive and skilled scheduler to support a wide range of projects across ESB Networks and Generation & Trading. As the demand for skilled project planners continues to rise across infrastructure and energy sectors, this role offers a unique opportunity to build a future-proof career in planning and scheduling—an increasingly indispensable discipline in modern project delivery. You will work independently on minor capital projects, developing and analysing schedules, collaborating with project teams, and contributing to schedule governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules for minor capital projects up to €10M.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure schedule accuracy.
- Identify schedule risks and assist in mitigation planning.
- Generate schedule reports and perform basic schedule analysis. Support integration of schedules across multiple projects.
- Drive team meetings with project stakeholders and carry out schedule updates.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling practices.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure alignment with project timelines.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in project scheduling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project (MSP); working knowledge of Primavera.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Experience working on infrastructure or energy-related projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Third-level qualification in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or other numerate disciplines
Desirable:
- Experience in utilities or heavy industry.
- Familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint.
- Formal project management training or certification.
- Demonstrated curiosity and initiative through side projects, certifications, or contributions to process improvements in previous roles.

Salary
€48,000 to €56,000 per annum
