Position Description
As a member of the Pricing Team, this role supports the business in delivering innovative and competitive electricity and gas products across all market sectors in the Republic of Ireland (ROI). The position requires strong analytical skills and involves close collaboration with various departments to set, manage, and communicate residential pricing strategies effectively. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Working in a dynamic environment, setting electricity and gas prices for residential customers in ROI using cost and market-based pricing methodologies and forecasts.
  • Work as a team in the pricing process by collaborating with the wider Strategy, Products Proposition, Pricing, Trading and Finance teams to agree the inputs to the price stack and agree timelines and delivery.
  • Be able to interpret, understand, review and analyse electricity and gas Industry consultation papers and make the necessary changes to the costs inputs in the pricing stack and have the ability to forecast these rates.
  • Prepare the price stacks for the price change analysis. This involves a detailed price review and changes as required including customer impact analysis of price changes and pricing of products.
  • Work as a team in the price change end to end process with Products and Proposition, Finance, Reporting, BPIT, Operations, PR and Communications, Web Teams to ensure that all price changes and structures are implemented and communicated correctly and effectively.
  • Be competent in analysing the tariffs for profitability and be able prepare tariff related queries and enquiries for both internal and external customers.

Experience and Qualifications
Essential

  • 3+ years numerical or analytical work experience.
  • Experienced and competent in the use of computer-based modelling packages and in the use of complex Excel spreadsheets.
  • Proven track record of understanding complex issues with many influencing factors.
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail with ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.
  • A relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Electric Ireland tariffs and price plans.
  • Knowledge of the retail and/or wholesale energy markets.
  • Previous experience in delivering system changes.
  • Previous experience in Electricity and Gas modelling or forecasting.
  • Regulatory knowledge in relation to ROI.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.


Location
This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry, Dublin.

Salary

€48,100 - €56,600 per annum (depending on experience)
