The team specialises in;

Conceptual and detailed Engineering Design.

Design review for EPC and Design and Build Projects
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will cover the items below:
-
Provision of the requisite civil and structural technical engineering services within the Networks HV SubSstations Civil Team fully embracing ESB’s Safety Culture. Projects covered within the team can involve a range of civil and structural design disciplines including reinforced concrete and structural steel design.

Prepare civil and structural engineering technical specifications, reports and design drawings.

Undertake site inspections, data collection and analysis to facilitate effective technical designs and / or technical assessments.

Specify and manage sub-contractor and sub-consultant inputsProvide input as necessary for site investigation, assessment, feasibility, design and consenting purposes.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Working as part of this dynamic team, you will always have new challenges and new problems to solve – working together is key. You will have the autonomy to choose how best to tackle tasks and solve problems with the support of your colleagues.
We are looking for the following skills.

A high level of specialist expertise, including a Sstrong technical capability, in Civil or Structural engineering with particular reference to reinforced concrete and/or structural steel design.

Strong project management and program management skills.

Ability to work and share knowledge and competencies within a team structure.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong safety awareness and competency.
Essential
-
At least 2 years relevant Civil or Structural engineering experience.

A full clean Irish/EU driving licence
-
Flexibility to travel nationwide.
Qualifications
Essential
Level 8 Engineering Degree, Level 7 Engineering Degree with relevant experience.
Location
The Sidings Dublin 2 or Eastgate Cork.

Salary
€49,000 - €58,000 Per annum
