Position Description

The Property & Planning Coordinator is an integral position within ESB Telecoms Ltd., sitting within the Asset, Governance, Safety & Compliance Team. The role is responsible for supporting property, estate management and planning related matters across ESB Telecoms’ portfolio, including coordination of property activity, support for site acquisition and development, planning compliance, and ensuring appropriate processes and governance are in place.

 

The successful candidate will operate as a core member of the Asset & Governance team, enabling the enterprise to achieve its strategic goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing property related queries across tower sites, including access issues and engagement with Group Property on rates.
  • Reviewing and administering lease agreements, including renewals and preparation of approval papers.
  • Supporting site acquisition activity.
  • Liaising with legal, property and internal teams across the business.
  • Acting as a key estate management contact, ensuring appropriate processes are in place and property matters are managed in line with good governance.
  • Providing planning support and acting as back-up to the Planner, including planning applications, appeals and RFIs where required.
  • Managing and supporting compliance with planning conditions and related planning requirements.
  • Carrying out audits, attending site meetings and site surveys as required.

 

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

  • Relevant 3rd level qualification, or equivalent work experience in property, planning, estate management, legal, governance or a related area.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a property, planning, estate management, legal support or governance role.
  • Knowledge of site leases, licences, wayleaves, property agreements or similar documentation, and familiarity with planning processes, planning conditions and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment with an understanding of governance, approvals and audit requirements.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and proactively follow matters through to resolution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to upskill on relevant business systems.

Desirable

  • Experience with mobile operators, tower providers or telecoms infrastructure
  • Experience supporting site acquisition, estate management or property portfolio activity
  • Experience using mapping, property, asset management or document management systems
  • Knowledge of telecoms sites, mast infrastructure or utility infrastructure environments

 

Location

This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry.

 

Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

Salary 

€49,800 - €58,600 per annum (depending on experience)
