Senior Transformation Manager
ESB Enterprises Services is recognised for playing a pivotal role in accelerating ESB’s transformation to Net Zero 2040 strategy. Enterprise Services enables ESB’s Net Zero 2040 strategy by leading, advising and delivering in our areas of expertise, in partnership with all business units across ESB. The Transformation Manager role was put in place to establish a Transformation Office to enable and support transformation across enterprise through the development & refinement of a clear Vision and Narrative for Transformation including the enabling 5 strategic shifts:

End-to-end process ownership and definition

Standardisation of services

Empowering Users through Self-Serve Self-Solve

Digital Ways of Working including Data Insights and Technology enablement

Prioritisation based on Value
Key Responsibilities:
-
Establish TMO through a set of clear deliverables including:
-
Enabling Strategies
-
Reference Architecture
-
Value Framework and Value Office
-
Collaboration with HR & Finance to ensure cohesive process design across the organisation

Establish & chair the Strategic Design Group
-
Create and monitor a single Integrated Transformation Plan for Enterprise Services transformation initiatives with a focus on creative and disruptive thinking
-
Develop Change Mgt strategy & BU engagement plan
-
Establish clear Governance and reporting of value of Integrated plan
-
Develop a culture of innovation, operational excellence and transformation across all Enterprise Services teams and enterprise-wide processes in ESB through strong collaboration
-
Drive the use of new ways of working, including data insights, digital enablement and new technologies across operational functions to improve efficiencies.

Develop clarity of fit for purpose Vision for Service Management and ensure alignment of the implementation of Service Management across Enterprise Services and enterprise-wide processes to achieve agreed business outcomes.

Establish and manage governance requirements.

Demonstrate values-led leadership behaviors to set and assure the standard for positive behaviours across the organisation and create an environment to support collaboration and high performance.

Experience and Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field essential. MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience. Experience within the utility sector preferable.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across different departments.

Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills; understanding of change management methodologies and tools.
Location :
This position will be based in 27, Lower Fitzwilliam Street

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.
