Technical Capability Administrator
The Technical Capability Team in the Centre of Engineering is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate technical capability is in place to meet the needs of the business in delivering its strategy into the future. In this context, technical capability relates to the capability provided to the organisation by the engineering and related professionals employed by ESB.
There are two key aspects to technical capability assurance: bringing new talent into the organisation and developing the talent we have. The technical capability business support provides support to the Technical Capability Team in delivering all aspects of technical capability improvement across ESB.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate Graduate and Undergraduate Recruitment : Lead the collation of long term forecast and annual recruitment figures for graduates, summer students, college placements, and Professional Engineers, this includes role descriptions and line manager assessments.
- Support Selection Processes: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to manage shortlisting, interviewing, and selection activities for all early career programmes.
- Manage Programme Administration: Liaise with HR Governance and Operations to oversee approvals, rotations, pay adjustments, bonuses, and allowances for graduate and PE hires.
- Facilitate Technical Training Delivery: Provide administrative support for the setup and execution of technical training programmes and PE assessment interviews, ensuring timely follow-up on outcomes.
- Support Inclusion and CSR Initiatives: Champion diversity in STEM careers and support inclusion activities within the technical capability team.
- Enhance Operational Efficiency: Maintain recruitment campaign schedules, act as a shopper for the team, and manage EMP Training CPC Card purchases, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support Strategic Projects: Provide administrative assistance to the Graduate Pipeline & Programme Reimagination Project and the Technical Development Committee.
Experience and Qualifications

Location
This position will be based in One Dublin Airport Central

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.

Salary
€32,000 - €38,000 Per annum
