The Asset Information business activity uses two main IT systems.

GNET is used as ESB's Corporate Graphical Information System (GIS), with all voltage networks (LV, 10/20 kV, 38 kV, 110kV, 220kV, and 400kV), for the entire country. In addition to its role as a network recording system, GNET is the source of data for several critical corporate applications. SAP Plant Maintenance is used as ESB’s Corporate Asset Register and Maintenance Management system.

A Team Member of Central Network Mapping utilises the Geographic Information System to record and accurately deliver all maps as used by ESB staff, ESB systems and external stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

A qualification in Geographic Information Systems or experience with SAP Systems is desirable.

Qualifications

Essential

A 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.

Desirable

A full driving licence is desirable.
