Team Member - Asset Register Administration (ARA)
Position Description
The Asset Register Administration (ARA) team plays a key role within ESB Networks’ Distribution Markets and System Operation (DMSO) area. DMSO is responsible for developing and implementing future ways of managing Ireland’s electricity distribution system to support economic growth and the transition to Net Zero.
The ARA team ensures that ESB Networks’ asset and maintenance systems, data, and processes are accurate, reliable, and aligned with operational and regulatory requirements. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to gain a strong understanding of the Networks business while developing skills in enterprise systems, data quality, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain ESB Networks’ asset systems, including SAP ERP, Microsoft Power Apps, and SharePoint.
- Ensure all asset and maintenance data is accurate, complete, and compliant with governance standards.
- Support maintenance order processes, including creating, updating, and closing out work orders in enterprise systems (e.g., SAP).
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders across ESB Networks.
- Manage and respond to general queries relating to asset records and system updates.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within ARA and other business areas to resolve issues as they arise.
- Deliver high‑quality work in line with company policies, procedures, and data quality standards.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Experience in an administrative, customer service, data-entry, or office-based role.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and follow structured processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A 3rd level qualification or equivalent relevant work experience.
Desirable
- Experience using SAP or other ERP systems (training will be provided).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps or similar workflow/data management tools.
- Experience using SharePoint for document management or workflow tracking.
- Experience in data entry, data quality, or process-driven administrative work.
- Experience handling queries or providing customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Basic analytical skills, such as identifying inconsistencies or resolving simple data issues.
- Full, clean driver’s licence.
Location
This position will be based at St. Margaret’s Road, Finglas, Dublin 11.
Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful candidate may work flexibly within the jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

Salary
€33,500 - €40,000 per annum.
