Position Description

 

Lead and enhance the Group’s cash and liquidity management capabilities through strategic forecasting, reporting and process optimization. Oversee trade finance operations, bank relationships and surplus cash investment strategies. Drive automation and data integration across ERP and TMS systems, improving traceability, governance and return on cash. Manage a team of analysts and lead initiatives to digitize and streamline treasury operations, ensuring robust liquidity planning and collateral oversight.   

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Cash Forecasting & Liquidity Management 

  • Lead cash forecasting and monthly reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and insight. 
  • Improve traceability of in-house cash positions and enhance visibility of group liquidity. 
  • Develop and maintain a surplus cash investment policy framework, incorporating best practices, training, oversight, and reporting, while embedding it into the Group’s funding and liquidity policy and ensuring regular renewal in line with governance requirements.  

Trade Finance & Banking Operations 

  • Manage trade finance facilities and issuance to support business operations. 
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with banking partners. 
  • Understand and oversee collateral postings as part of broader liquidity management.  

Process Optimisation & Technology Integration 

  • Drive process improvement through digitization and automation of treasury operations. 
  • Lead integration of ERP and TMS systems to streamline data flow and enhance efficiency. 

Leadership, Governance & Performance Monitoring 

  • Manage and develop a team of analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Develop KPIs to track forecasting performance and support strategic liquidity planning initiatives.  

 

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

    • Extensive experience in corporate treasury, with a strong track record in cash forecasting, strategic liquidity planning, and surplus cash investment across complex, multi-entity environments. 
    • Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams, setting strategic direction, and developing KPIs to drive accountability and continuous improvement. 
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across finance, tax, legal, and commercial teams. 

Desirable 

    • Proven leadership in treasury technology transformation, including ERP and TMS integration, automation, and process digitization. 

 

Location

This position will be based in 27 Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin 2.

Reporting To

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Treasury Markets & Group Trading Risk.

Salary

€69,500 - €81,500 depending on experience
