Position Description

 

The Programming & Reporting Manager is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of renewable and major customer connections projects with ESB Networks delivery functions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to;

 

  • Programme management, managing multiple renewable and major connection projects which have dynamic deadlines, overseeing multiple deliverables and a series of related dependencies that evolve as individual projects develop.
  • Real-time active programme tracking of renewable and major customer projects from development to energisation and close out.
  • Manage and maintain the renewable and major connections visual management system.
  • Risk and statistical analysis/reporting of the renewable and major connections programme.
  • Production of high-quality real time monthly customer project status reports for a large range of internal and external stakeholders (DECC, CRU, EirGrid etc).
  • Production of annual regulatory performance reports
  • Coordination of customer project progress meetings with the regional delivery teams.
  • Manage the assignment of LPM and PL assignments onto FMIS.
  • Develop close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

 

Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience developing and/or delivering transmission and distribution projects.
  • A high level of commitment, judgement and interpersonal skills.
  • An excellent working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Strong project management and influencing skills.
  • Good organisational ability and strong communication skills.
  • Flexible and agile mindset.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Essential

  • Level 8 engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience (of a minimum of 5 years) is essential.
  • A full driving license is essential.

 

 

Desirable

  • Experience using ESB Networks FMIS systems or SAP
  • A good working knowledge of PowerBI.
  • Formal recognised project management qualification.

 

 

Location

 

Flexible. (The Renewable & Major Connections Group is located in multiple national locations).

 

Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful  candidate may work flexibly within the  jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

Salary

€59,000 to €70,000 per annum
