Position Description

This role is responsible for management and oversight the Networks Cybersecurity Delivery Train and associated initiatives, ensuring that the Delivery Train is progressing work in line with the strategic direction of Networks and ESB. The role will work with internal and external stakeholders to implement cybersecurity strategy across the business ensuring they are consistent with policy and legislation. The role will include integration with cybersecurity obligations under NIS2, the NCCS and CER Directive as it applies to Networks.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring consistent prioritisation of cybersecurity remediation across the business.
  • Aligning the Cybersecurity Strategy with overall Cybersecurity Architecture and with Business Strategy
  • Provide assurance for cybersecurity delivery across Networks to the Cybersecurity Board
  • Oversee Networks cybersecurity spend over the duration of PR6 ensuring delivery of the cybersecurity strategy
  • Collaborating with Enterprise Security Architect, Security Engineering and Security Operations Teams on design, testing and implementation of OT Cybersecurity architecture.
  • Active involvement in overall OT Cybersecurity Governance incl. Design Authority and/or Cybersecurity Governance meetings to adhere to the model
  • Support weekly meetings along with the delivery projects and OT Cybersecurity specialists to ensure delivery of consistent cybersecurity remediation.
  • Co-ordinate smooth flow of information between the delivery projects, the Networks Cybersecurity Board and the wider business.

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

Essential

  • 5+ years of experience within Cybersecurity delivery
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to pinpoint root causes and devise solutions with minimal oversight
  • Understanding of project management principles.
  • Ability to coordinate multi assignments and manage deadlines.

 

Desirable

  • Should be certified or have relevant experience in (ISO27001, ISO9001, IEC62443, NERC CIP, NIS D, NIST SP 800 82, SP 800 53)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive.
  • Experience in increasing levels of managing/leadership.

 

 

Location 

This position will be based in Three Gateway, East Wall Road, Dublin 3.

Salary

€71,000 to €84,000 per annum
