As the Networks Telecoms Health, Safety and Environmental Project Support, you will support the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager and the Health, Safety and Environmental team in Networks Telecoms. Key Responsibilities
- Support activities to maintain/manage ISO accreditation such as ISO45001 and ISO14001.
- Attend team meetings and updating documentation.
- Assist staff with training in all safety apps and systems.
- Develop safety note and compiling monthly safety statistics and KPIs against targets.
- Support site and job safety walk downs and investigations.
- Support development of safety improvement plans & emergency plans.
- Support the safety committee and support the Safe & Sound Team.
- Support reporting of safety incidents per safety policy & procedures.
- Tracking completion of safety audits per audit schedules and feedback audit performance to staff and report on audit performance.
- Support safety inductions & maintain induction system as required.
- Development and review of risk assessments, method statements and safety procedures.
- Support and organise training as required.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- A relevant Health & Safety professional qualification or in the process of gaining certification in this area.
- Experience convening meetings and produce required meeting documentation, for example meeting minutes.
- Self-motivated with excellent planning and time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, including ability to work collaboratively and engage positively with colleagues.
- Capability to work with people at all levels of the organisation, building strong relationships and fostering collaboration. Be an active, supportive, and positive team member.
- A full clean driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience in a safety role.
- Knowledge of and/or certification in Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO45001 and ISO14001).
- Experience in safety auditing skills.
- Experience compiling and reviewing risk assessments, method statements and safety procedures.
Location
This position will be based in ESB offices, Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18. Alternative locations will be considered.
ESB is committed to smart working – combining digital tools with a culture of trust and empowerment to enable flexible ways of working. The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.

Salary
€40,000 – €47,000 per annum
