Position Description 

Opportunity to work in an in-house Legal Support and Administration role. Role involves a wide range of legal administrative support duties for Networks Legal. ESB Networks Legal is an in-house Legal Department in ESB. 

  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Legal support to a number of solicitors across different areas together with administrative tasks including; dictation typing, scanning, archiving, photocopying, arranging meetings, etc. 

  • Preparation of high-quality legal documents, letters, and reports. 

  • Running Power Bi reports and compiling information.   

  • Processing and monitoring invoices for payment and requisitioning Purchase Orders using ESB applications. 

  • Diary Management and Meeting Organisation. 

  • Organisation and administration of correspondence for Networks Legal. 

  • Managing databases, recording data and ensuring digital files and hard copy files are up to date 

  • Provide administration support to team members to meet business demands. 

  • Other duties as assigned from time to time. 

  

Experience and Qualifications 

The successful candidate will possess: 

 

 Essential: 

  • Experience in a legal support role. 

  • High level of competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Practice Evolve or similar case Management system, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint 

  • Dictation typing skills with exacting attention to detail. 

  • Ability to accurately assemble Briefs and Booklets for Court. 

 

Desirable 

  • Previous Legal Administration Experience desired however, not essential.
  • Ability to organise and manage workload 

  • Flexible approach to working practices 

  • A positive attitude and team working skills. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • The ability to be proactive and work independently.

Smart Working at ESB is designed to make ‘in-person’ time together as purposeful as possible while also enabling the effective use of digital tools and hybrid arrangements to preserve our commitment to flexibility. The successful  candidate may work flexibly within the  jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

Salary

€33,000 to €40,000 per annum
