Team Leader, Material Services, Networks Delivery Services
Position Description
The Role of the Team Leader is to develop and manage a Supply Chain Team effectively in order to deliver all work programmes to the highest standards while maximising Team Performance. The Team Lead has responsibility for the safe and cost-effective management of material under their control.
Key Responsibilities

Lead a Team in a safe and cost-effective handling and storage of material

Develop excellent relationships with the delivery organisation and positively influence the material planning process

Utilise EWM/SAP and other systems for effective material management
-
Co-ordinate material deliveries between DSS Warehouse, Logistics Team and Depots
-
Co-ordinate and lead Process Changes
-
Respond to emergency material requirements (e.g. in storm situations)

Carry out stock takes / reconciliations as required

Maintain accurate stocking levels as required

Schedule and allocate tasks to team members
-
Ensure compliance with Environmental legislation and work with local Delivery Teams to maintain environmental compliance

Take responsibility for team performance by agreeing, implementing and monitoring individual and team goals

Support and coach team members on performance

Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Promote team working in an open environment

Provide clear, timely communications to team members and invite feedback
-
Monitor and report on progress against key activities
-
Manage all relevant information within and outside the team

Assist the relevant Manager with key projects as needed
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
-
Minimum of 5 years Supply Chain/Logistics experience
-
Prior experience in Supply Chain people management or significant ESB Supply Chain expertise.

Excellent IT skills particularly in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office applications in particular Microsoft Excel

Willingness to learn and develop

Proven expertise in data driven decision making

Maintains the highest levels of safety, on a personal and a team basis, including the completion of safety audits, safety performance reviews and safety coaching

Ability to manage and motivate a team of staff
-
Proven ability in Stakeholder management
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Highly motivated, able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.

A high level of commitment and flexibility
-
Able to develop, train and mentor newly appointed and existing staff

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
-
Full driving licence
Desirable
-
Qualification in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience
Location
This position will be based in ESB Depot Rosbrien, Co. Limerick

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.

Salary
€48,000 to €56,000 per annum
