Position Description

 

The team member in the Networks Training Centre administration function plays a crucial role in supporting the effective and efficient delivery of training for ESB Networks. By ensuring smooth reception operations and providing accurate administrative support, this role directly contributes to a positive training experience for all participants and supports the ongoing development of skilled professionals within ESB Networks. The ESB Networks Training Centre is a dynamic location that serves a diverse group, including both ESB staff and external parties, and is the central hub for ESB's apprenticeship programme.

 

This service-oriented role primarily involves managing reception duties at the NTC, welcoming visitors, and addressing queries. It also encompasses a variety of administrative tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the Networks Training Centre and successful course delivery. Administrative duties include scheduling training sessions, maintaining attendance records, coordinating with trainers, for both internal staff and external participants.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

The role includes a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

 

  • Reception and customer service for the ESB Networks Training Centre
  • Coordinate room bookings for classroom training and meetings, ensuring schedules are accurately recorded and communicated.
  • Record course attendance sheets and associated training records for course participants on SAP SuccessFactors and SharePoint.
  • Coordinating and tracking invoices related to training activities, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping in line with ESB Networks procedures.
  • Maintain training activity reports (needs identified and training delivered) using ESB systems.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability to change, and commitment to continuous improvement.

 

 

Experience and Qualfications

 

Essential

 

  • Either 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience.  
  • Provide a flexible approach to work to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.  
  • Quality approach to the management of data and records  
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills.  

 

 

Desirable

  • Working knowledge of SAP HCM systems would be an advantage.
  • High level of proficiency on MS Office Applications

 

Location

This is a full-time onsite role, based at the Networks Training Centre in Portlaoise. 

 

 

Reporting To

Training Design & Systems Manager, Networks Training Centre.

Salary

€33,590 - €40,000
