Store Handler, Supply Chain - Portlaoise
Position Description
Key Responsibilities
- The custody and security of stocks and stores premises
- The physical movement of stocks in and out of stores
- The implementation of a wide range of stores procedures and regulations
- The control of bulk issue materials
- The operation and use of computer systems, forklifts and stores handling equipment
- Open & close depot daily
- Ensure materials are kept accurate on the stock account
- Maintain housekeeping policy
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent work experience is essential.
- A working knowledge in the use of Information Technology
- An appreciation of stores operations
- An ability to work with all staff groups to provide an effective storekeeping service
Desirable
- Forklift Licence
- Manual Handling Certificate
Location
This position will be based in Portlaoise Depot.
Reporting to
The successful candidate will report into the Materials Services Supervisor.

Salary
€33,000 - €40,000 per annum.
