Campaign & Digital Manager
Position description
ESB’s centralised Marketing Communications team is looking for a high performing Campaign & Digital Manager to manage through the line advertising for the Electric Ireland brand. Reporting to the Electric Ireland Advertising Manager, they will be responsible for driving excellence in the campaign management process, increasing effectiveness of media spend and producing compelling creative to drive business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Electric Ireland Residential & Business Marketing teams to understand strategic priorities and translate these into integrated advertising plans that align with overall Marketing objectives.
- Lead key advertising programmes and support the Electric Ireland Advertising Manager in shaping and coordinating a cohesive, brand‑wide advertising plan.
- Develop clear, insight‑led briefs for media and creative agencies, collaborating closely with the Strategy & Insights team to uncover meaningful customer insights.
- Manage advertising KPIs, delivering timely post‑campaign analysis and performance reports. Use the marketing scorecard to draw insights and recommend improvements.
- Drive impactful, relevant, and distinctive creative that cuts through in a crowded, low‑interest category, challenging and collaborating with agency partners to raise creative standards.
- Plan and optimise multi‑channel media strategies based on audit results, econometric learnings, customer behaviour and industry best practice, working closely with the media agency.
- Coordinate cross‑functional input across PR, Sponsorship, Direct Marketing and segment teams to produce unified campaign responses, ensuring stakeholder alignment, strong budget management and adherence to regulatory and brand standards.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Honours 3rd level Degree, ideally in a marketing or business-related discipline.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar marketing role.
- Demonstrated creative flair, with proven success in developing and managing advertising campaigns.
- Experience collaborating with, or working within, media and creative advertising agencies.
- Strong media planning and execution experience.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including a solid technical understanding of digital channels and tactics.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commercially astute, with the ability to apply strategic reasoning, analytical thinking, and effective budget management.
Desirable
- Team player and solution‑orientated, with the ability to multitask.
- Confidence working in fast‑paced, high‑volume campaign environments with shifting priorities.
- Ability to interpret data, campaign performance metrics and customer insights to inform continuous optimisation.
- Familiarity with brand governance, regulatory requirements and maintaining consistency across multiple touchpoints.
Location
This position will be based in Santry, Dublin.

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor day per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.

Salary
€59,900 - €70,500 per annum depending on experince
