Digital Performance Manager
Position Description
ESB wishes to recruit a Digital Performance Manager reporting to the Advertising Manager, in the Marketing and Customer Insights Team at Electric Ireland. As a Digital Performance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving digital growth across all channels for specific products and services. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective digital marketing and e-commerce strategies, overseeing market-specific initiatives, and managing and optimising always-on programs. You will focus on increasing revenue and share of search, collaborating with stakeholders across various business units, and utilising data-driven insights to make informed decisions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a substantial budget and driving sales to achieve key business objectives. Your strategic approach will ensure consistent and impactful digital performance, contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Performance: Driving digital growth across all channels (search, social, and display) by managing and implementing digital marketing strategies. Responsible for increasing digital share and optimising channel-specific performance.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive Digital Marketing Always on Plan: Create and execute a comprehensive Always On plan that aligns demand-driven activities with relevant tactical campaigns. This includes setting clear objectives, identifying target audiences, and selecting the most effective channels and tactics.
- Ongoing Campaign Management and Optimisation: Continuously manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, AB testing, recommending ways to improve performance in achieving market-specific KPIs. Set specific budgets, provide forecasts.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales team, Analytics, Marketing Managers, Loyalty, CRM (Customer Relationship Manager), and Product to develop a market-specific roadmap aimed at achieving yearly KPIs. Manage external stakeholder relationships including agency partners and industry bodies.
- Data-Driven Marketing: Ensure all marketing activities are accurately monitored and measured using available analytics tools. Google Analytics / CM360/ META Manager and DV360 Dashboards for campaign reporting purposes. Collaborate with channel specialists to effectively allocate budgets across different digital channels and maximise ROI.
- Developing Creatives: Managing the development of advertisements across various platforms, including social media and display channels, in collaboration with creative agencies.
- Budget Management: Manage a substantial digital performance budget.
- Reporting: Produce monthly and quarterly digital performance reports and present them back to stakeholders. Provide regular cross-channel reports and insights to internal stakeholders in Management and Marketing.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Digital Marketing Qualification.
- Minimum 3+ years of related work experience in digital marketing.
- Experience in using Advertising Technology such as SA360, Google Ad Platforms, Google Analytics, Performance Max, TikTok, META.
- Experience managing paid search, preferably in eCommerce.
- Demonstrated experience in executing SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) on-page optimisation strategies.
- Conversion tracking experience including GTM (Google Tag Manager), remarketing and targeting strategy development.
- Experience working with 1st party and 3rd party data to derive consumer insights and understanding of how these data points can be utilized via digital media to improve media efficiency.
- Incorporating new industry KPIs on an ongoing basis including Share of Search.
- Well organised, analytical and can handle multiple ad-hoc requests simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable
- Foundation in marketing and brand experience.
- Excellent understanding of all marketing channels.
- A keen sense for and familiarity with UX and visual design.
- Social media knowledge.
Location
This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry, Dublin 9.

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor day per week. All smart working arrangements are subject to manager approval and ongoing review, based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the individual.

Salary
€48,000 - €56,500 per annum, depending on experience
