Position description  

 

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Digital Insights Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital analytics (websites & mobile applications).  In this role, you will be responsible for collecting data, analysing, interpretating and reporting for Electric Ireland web and Mobile applications. Your expertise will directly contribute to our strategic decision-making and overall digital strategy.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Implement and maintain tracking using GA4, Firebase Analytics, and Google Tag Manager to ensure robust and compliant digital data collection.  
  • Analyse website and mobile app traffic, user journeys, and conversion funnels to identify optimisation opportunities.  
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar tools to visualise performance metrics.  
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and campaign performance reviews, providing actionable insights to digital product, UX, and marketing teams.  
  • Apply statistical techniques (e.g. A/B testing, regression analysis) to support product development and digital strategy.  
  • Work with large, multi-dimensional datasets, including structured and unstructured data, to surface deeper behavioural and content-based insights (e.g. webchat, search terms).  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across digital, product, and customer experience teams to embed data-driven decision-making into day-to-day operations.

 

 

Experience and Qualifications:  

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in digital analytics or insights related role with tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Firebase Analytics.
  • Strong experience implementing and managing tagging through Google Tag Manager or similar platforms.  
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets, including experience in text or unstructured data analysis.  
  • Solid proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.  
  • Experience creating effective visualisations and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Looker Studio.  
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.  
  • A third-level qualification in Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).  


Desirable:

  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ) or GA4 Certification.  
  • Familiarity with server-side tagging, consent mode, and privacy-first analytics frameworks.  
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and predictive modelling techniques.  
  • Knowledge of data lake or warehouse platforms such as Azure, BigQuery, or Snowflake.   

 

 

Location

 

This position will be based in Swift Square, Northwood, Dublin 9.

Salary

 

€48,000 - €56,500 depending on experience .
