Energy Management Engineer
The Role

The Smart Energy Services business has been formed to develop and deliver an integrated energy management solution for large energy users in Ireland and the UK. We are working with Ireland’s leading brands across many industries including Tesco, Pfizer and MSD. We work in partnership with our customers to create long term shared value and this is a wonderful opportunity for someone who would like to take on a new challenge and gain excellent experience within this fast growing business area.
Smart Energy Services is now looking to fill the role of Energy Management Analyst, to provide a spectrum of energy optimisation and management services to customers, by using cutting edge data analysis techniques. We control, monitor, analyse and advise on customer’s energy consumption and optimisation using data from thousands of sensors in hundreds of customer premises. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and build the customer base and also to be at the forefront of the development of new products and services for Smart Energy Services Energy Management Hub’s customers.
The role will be reporting to the Energy Management Hub Manager, Smart Energy Services based in Dublin in Swift Square, Santry. Some travel to customer sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver energy optimisation and management services to Smart Energy Services customers
- Support the development of the competence of the Energy Management Hub team to become a centre of excellence for energy optimisation and management services
- Develop energy efficiency reports
- Implement changes in customer facilities to support data analytics
- Identify and develop new commercial opportunities and customer propositions
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Manage and participate in key business projects
- Move between various clients and projects as required
Essential Experience and Qualifications
- Technical background with 5+ years relevant industry experience
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to deliver
- Good commercial acumen
- Knowledge and experience of data analysis packages and techniques
Desirable
- Strong understanding of energy management systems and standards
- Demonstrated ability in technical report writing and automation

Salary
€43,000 - €52,000 per annum
