Sales Contract Manager, Channel Manager [15 Months]
Position Description
The Residential Sales Contract Management team are responsible for managing the Sales requirements across all outsourced sales partners.
The Electric Ireland Residential Channel Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving Electric Ireland to achieve its residential sales targets and market share ambitions. Given the highly competitive nature of Ireland’s energy market, the successful candidate will need to inspire and motivate their teams to ensure targets for each channel are met. This role demands a leader who can drive performance through the field sales teams, online channels and price comparison websites and achieve optimal performance across these channels.
The specific sales targets will be challenging due to the increased competition from both established players and new entrants. The market’s dynamic nature, with high levels of customer switching and churn, adds to the challenge. We are looking for an ambitious sales channel manager who thrives in a competitive environment and is driven to reach and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of third-party channels such as Field sales/online/price comparison websites including relevant sales admin team ensuring support is provided and all contract obligations are met.
- Delivering on annual sales targets set out by residential strategy in line with the current budget allocation for Field sales/online/price comparison websites.
- Ensure the smooth flow of all sales processed end to end, ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to, including the identification and resolution of any bottlenecks.
- Continually align resources with third parties to align with forecasting ensuring teams have required staffing to meet KPI’s and sales.
- Ongoing regular reporting on sales targets identifying any underperformance and trends while providing insights and recommendations to address any deviations from target.
- Manage the transition of new products from the business to the outsource partners through the Contract Change Control Process.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- A relevant 3rd level qualification or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability in managing a 3rd party vendor and achieving sales targets
- Excellent customer service, management and organisational skills
- Ability to build relationships and work on variety of projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong IT and analytical skills
Desirable
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Prior experience of digital, face-to-face sales and telesales would be advantageous.

Location
This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry, Dublin 9.

Salary
€57,900 - €68,000 per annum (depending on experience)
