The hydro generating stations on the Liffey and at Turlough Hill have provided clean, reliable, renewable electricity to the grid for the past 75 years.

The Liffey and Turlough Hill Stations are made up of 4 landmark renewable generating stations. Pollaphuca reservoir also provides the vast majority of the water supply to the greater Dublin area. The other civil infrastructure in this portfolio includes tunnels, bridges, reservoirs, buildings, lands and associated civil structures.  Monitoring and maintaining the dams and civil infrastructure to a safe standard is the role of the Civil Engineering team.
