Position Description

 

The role of the Construction Supervisor, HV/MV Lines & Cables includes responsibility for delivery of work as assigned in the areas of Project Delivery.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

 

  • Planning and prioritising for the delivery of work programmes.
  • Scheduling work and tracking and reporting on performance.
  • Managing productivity.
  • Managing costs.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for staff, contractors and the public.
  • Safety Auditing and Auditing quality of work.
  • Lead and develop the team.
  • Managing (subcontractors including interfaces with internal teams).
  • Managing stakeholders.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

Essential

 

  • Knowledge of Network Assets
  • Project Management
  • Understands and applies the relevant Quality Management Standards
  • Demonstrates knowledge of ESB Networks Safety Rules
  • 5+ Years relevant experience

 

 

Qualifications

 

Either a 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.

 

 

Location

 

This position is based in Wilton, Co. Cork / flexibility of location within South Region may be considered.

 

 

Reporting to

 

The successful candidate will report to the HV Contracted Projects Project Leader.

 

 

Salary 

 

Starting from €54,000 per annum.
