Position Description

The primary role will involve supporting the Team Leader of Data Collection in various operational tasks within the section. In addition, there will be an opportunity to work closely with associated areas within ESB Networks such as Retail Market Services (RMS), Database, Meter Registration Service Operator (MRSO), Smart Metering and Revenue Protection. This role would suit an ambitious self-starter, interested in working in Wilton, Cork and intent on developing a career within ESB Networks.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Validating Meter readings received in a timely fashion to support billing deadline with the Market Place.
  • Adaptable to change and supportive of moving across teams in Meter Reading to meet Business requirements.
  • Flexible approach to working, including multitasking as required
  • Liaising closely with other business functions within RMS and ESB Networks
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints in line with our customer charter
  • Participate in business projects as required
  • Engage with Suppliers , customers and support contractors to reduce sites with a Long term no access across meter points.
  • Working as part of a highly motivated team to ensure the integrity of data in our database

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Either a Third level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential.
  • Excellent IT skills – Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a team
  • Attention to detail is critical

The successful  candidate may work flexibly within the  jurisdiction where they have been employed, with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration at least two days per week. All Smart Working arrangements are subject to regular review based on the operational requirements of the role, the team, and the business.

Salary

€33,000 - €40,000 per annum
