Core Energy Product and Propositions Manager [18 months]
Position Description
Customer Solutions is the primary customer facing business unit of the ESB Group. Through the Electric Ireland brand it is the leading energy supplier in Ireland. It serves 1.4 million customers, both Residential and Business in an All-Ireland market and has an annual turnover in excess of €2 BN. Electric Ireland’s current product offerings include Electricity, Gas & New Energy products such as Solar PV.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an energetic individual to work in the Products and Propositions team within Customers Solutions. The role is reporting to the Core Energy Propositions manager within the Residential Products and Propositions team and will be responsible for managing products within the Core Energy product portfolio – including Microgeneration, Electricity, Gas tariffs and any future propositions such as dynamic tariffs in this space. This role will work across the Electric Ireland business leading on the delivery of the residential product roadmap and associated KPIs.

- Deliver customer insight and market knowledge.
- Deliver return on investment and profitable growth.
- Understanding of your product including roadmap and technical leadership.
- Management of the products within your core Energy product portfolio.
- Deliver best in class customer experience through all touchpoints.
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Highly self-motivated, and a strong relationship builder.

- An innovative thinker – always with a focus on great customer solutions.
- A fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoys a fast-paced work environment.
- Preferably with product or proposition management experience within the energy sector or a related industry.
- 5+ years relevant work experience.
Desirable
- Commercial modelling and excel skills.
- Prior experience working in a B2C role.
- Experience of launching customer propositions to residential customers.
- Experience of development of business cases.
- Data analytics skills.
- An understanding of the digital world of marketing and communications.
- Understanding of the energy market.
Location
This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry, Dublin, IE

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week. Salary
€57,900 - 68,100 per annum (depending on experience)
